I am extremely passionate when it comes to helping people reach their full potential at any age. Strength training is a powerful source of healing and my clients understand that the benefits go way beyond just the physical appearance. Regular weight bearing exercise improves hormone function, mental health, balance, mobility, bone density, sleep, immune function as well as muscle strength and weight loss. The benefits are endless.    

 

With such a diverse number of cliental, I strategically personalize the sessions to each of their fitness levels and goals. This allows my clients to feel comfortable and motivated to succeed at any age.

MEET DENISE

 "My love for health and fitness began in my early twenties.  Today, I’ve been fortunate to turn my passion into a thriving profession. Since 2000 I’ve been working as a qualified, professional trainer in the San Francisco bay area, guiding my clients towards a healthier lifestyle." ​

 

Denise Bridges is a NASM certified, insured and CPR trained group and personal trainer with over twenty years of experience in the health and fitness industry. She was awarded the Neighborhood Favorite badge two years in a row in 2023 and 2024.​

 

Her story of how she overcame an eating disorder and other challenging health issues has given her empathy and compassion to work with a diverse group of clients that range from the ages of thirteen to eighty-five. Denise specializes and trains clients with hormone imbalances, menopause, the elderly, and auto-immune disorders such as Rheumatoid arthritis, Multiple sclerosis, Hashimoto's, Crohn's disease, Lupus and Fibromyalgia. She also trains to aid recovery following hip and knee replacements, or back surgery with a doctor's clearance. 

 

Denise's passion is infectious as she motivates, inspires and encourages her clients to be the best version of themselves at any age.

Over the years I've had two knee replacements. Denise modified the exercises for me and I still got a great workout. She knows how to train people like myself who've had injuries and is very knowledgeable of how to work with them. Despite my challenges, I've been training with Denise for over 11 years and I've been able to stay fit into my fifties!

Denise is an amazing teacher who is so encouraging and so helpful when it comes to losing weight! I took part in a couple of her weight loss challenges that really inspired me to keep pressing on to my goal of losing 40 pounds and staying healthy. I love kickboxing and so her classes are a perfect fit for me.
